The GPS Atlas is owned and operated by GPS Marine. The maximum lifting load of this sheerleg is 400 tons (2x 200tons on the main tackles). With the currently installed jib is 55meters high and it can lift 250tons (2x 125ton) on the secondary tackles.

There is also an option to install a 37meter jib and a 9m fly jib on top, making the total height 75meters with a lifting capacity of 2x 50tons.

GPS (General Port Services) was founded in 1964 and has it's office in Chatham UK and Sliedrecht Netherlands. They own several tugs and workboats and do a lot of salvaging and wreck removal work.
