SiteHoppin' was born after Max, the founder, was browsing through the web for new ideas for new websites.

One day, he hopped onto John Chow's blog post about Winning The Web having a blog contest for free ads. Then he found Gyutae Park, who was talking about blog hoppin'.

Then it hit Max one day, he could make a site that'd let everyone "site hop" like "bar hop".

Using tags, a user on SiteHoppin' could browse the web without typing but simply clicking on his tags! (This would save every user a LOT of time!)

Tag Browsing

The Tag Browser feature will be built by next week but as for overall functions of this "hacked" wiki site, it's still in LIVE development.

Rate with beers

SiteHop let's you "watch" websites in a super-fast fashion so you can "flip" through websites. If you want, you can also rate them with bottles of beers.

The more beers you rate with, the better the site it is. (or the more drunk you are...)

Earn Beer Credits and use them to get FREE traffic to your blog or website

While using the new Entrecard for bloggers, it hit Max one day that he could transform the site into a "FREE advertising platform" for bloggers and other website owners.

Working night and day, SiteHoppers were able to implement the most basic Beer Credit System. Soon, we will be tranforming it further into a more advanced advertising program.

What's up with the g?

We also were going to name the site, SiteHopping.com, but that domain name was taken so we thought of something better, SiteHoppin.com. (We took a little advice from Mike's Bloggin-Ads blog.)
