Finally, after 99 bottles of beer, we were able to hack MediaWiki more to bring you a feature that let’s you add friends. We will also add the ability to site hop user pages also.
There might be some bugs due to our drunkenness again…we apologize if there are any bugs. The most fun part about this site is that it will change daily with new features and new designs. Right now we are working on the core functionalities so please be patient even if our graphics look crappy. We have been getting a lot of feedback through webmaster forums and we are going to implement some changes that the forum users have been telling us.

On the bright side, we are really going to get serious developing the site so you get more hits and also get better browsing experience. (Yes, we will be drinking more of course!)

Basically, the beer bottles right now are not important but they will become core part of SiteHoppin’ as “random” hops will give priority to those sites with more beers on the wall. (or more votes) That’s the SiteHoppin’ algorithm. The more beers you get, the more traffic you “will” get. Once we have enough user base to work with, the SiteHoppin’ algorithm will be implemented so you only hop the “best” sites. We don’t want to waste your time.

Another feature we will add soon is the ability to site hop your own tag lists and ability to make a mini-blog on the sites you have rated or submitted.
