New SiteHoppin’ Drunken Algorithm coming soon!
As it’s been a tradition for just over a week, developers at SiteHoppin’ will be bringing you the “drunken algorithm”, which will be much better than Google’s PageRank since it’s based on how many beers on the wall and average beers.
Basically, here’s the SiteHoppin’ Drunken Algorithm that will change the way you surf:
1. All new sites submitted get automatically 5 beers for rating and 1 beer on the wall.
2. The “Random” SiteHoppin’ mode will only show you the top sites with rating of 3 beers or more. This means any sites that get rated with 1 beer a lot will be filtered out by the SiteHoppin’ community. The average number of beers will equate to PageRank basically.
3. Site with more beers on the wall will also get a boost in traffic through the new Drunken Algorithm.
4. As more users start SiteHoppin’ and rate more sites, your Site Hops will become more interesting and better through community drunkenness.
5. We won’t have to worry about spam so much as the sites with top beer ratings will be site hopped the most.
Confused? Go get yourself a beer and it might make more sense.
