Beer Credit System ready for beta testing!
Beer Credit System is now ready for beta testing!
Basically, here’s how it works:
Everytime you hit the SiteHoppin button, you get 1 Beer Credit.
Everytime you rate a site using the beer bottles, you get 5 Beer Credits.
So, now you can earn Beer Credits while you drop Entrecards too.
So, what do you do with the Beer Credits?
Goto your user page by clicking on your username at the upper right hand of your screen like shown here:
1. Set your Hop Url to your any Url you want hopped. (Now, the Url must already exist on the SiteHoppin database. If it doesn’t, simply go submit your Url here first.)
2. Turn “On” your Hop Status.
3. Watch as our system randomly selects one of users’ hops and hops to your site.
4. You can check the number of Beer Credits you earned and hops you’ve received on your user page.
5. 10 Beer Credits are debited from your account for each hop you receive. So below, I used 8,880 Beer Credits to receive 888 random hops from SiteHoppin.com.

Now this Beer Credit System sounds like a real good way to drive site hoppers to one’s site.

It basically gives you a free traffic to your site by hoppin’ on Sitehoppin.
Hey Chris,
I just changed your manually, we have a bug where if your site is registered with a slash or not.
In your case, your site was submitted with a slash.
But a simpler way to to find your site URL that comes after http://sitehoppin.com/ and then copy and paste that code.
There’s an AJAX code that checks to see if the URL exists in the database to avoid any weird hops.
But it should be better soon, still beta.

I have added my site to sitehoppin bookmarks (after like three attempts) but I can’t set it as hop url - keeps saying that it isn’t registered in database (tried copy/paste, different case, slash, etc).
