We’ve dumped our previous randomizer and updated the Beer Credit System with session cookies.

Basically, session cookies are cookies that are stored on your computer while you have your browser is being used and deleted when you close your Firefox, IE, Safari, etc…etc…

Now what does session cookies have to do with bringing you more unique visitors and real traffic?

Well, basically we use session cookies for users that are not logged in to prevent “multiple-hits” from the same user.

If that user closes his/her browser and re-starts it, he/she can hop the “Ad URLs” again but we figure that this period of closing and restarting the browser will be longer than hour, which should register on your stats as a unique visitor. This will work a lot better than using our randomizer algorithm. Hooray!

In simple drunken terms, the traffic we now give you are completely “unique visitors” whether you are logged in or not.
