Well, it’s time to let everyone know what I have been doing behind the background while SiteHoppin was in hibernation mode over the last 9 months or so.

First, I had to concentrate on growing the network of blogs I run for myself and other corporations since this was my steady income.

Second, I didn’t do this because of my selfishness to make money, I did it for everyone.

Why?

Well, the blog network is the marketing core behind SiteHoppin.  Without free blog marketing (1 million uniques per month) from the Zedomax Blog Network, SiteHoppin wouldn’t have a chance in this fierce Web 2.0 world.

By building the blog networks, we have actually built a great foundation for free marketing.

You grow, I grow and I grow, you grow Concept

Web 2.0 is all about growing a portfolio of different websites/blogs, not just one.  If you only grew one website, you live by the sword and die by it.

In contrast, we have over 20+ blogs/websites in the network.  (Not all of them are public of course)

This is the marketing core behind SiteHoppin, 1 million unique free advertising.

Anyways, I hope y’all feel a little better that I’ve told you what I do in the background.

Here’s my quote for today:

“Things are not always what they seem.  Don’t judge people by their outside looks.”

It’s funny because I met an V.P executive of a software company at my local grocery store the other day at the checkout in my shorts and over-worn T-shirt.

He asks me, “Are you a student?”  I guess judging by my humble outfit, he thought I must be a poor student who can barely afford his food and rent.

I answer, “No, I run a web business.” (I really wanted to add, “and I don’t have to work for a boss like you, I work from home anytime I want, anywhere I want.  Does V.P.  at a software company give you those privileges?”)

The funniest part is I thought SiteHoppin would be the site that’d pay all my bills by now.  Actually, I’ve lost a lot more money on SiteHoppin and it’s all the little blogs that add up to a nice paycheck every month.
