The Main Reason Why SiteHoppin Will Be Successful!

Probably the most successful blog/website I have ever made so far (that brought in the most money) is Zedomax.com.  Above is the total graph of Zedomax.com stats from Day 1 (August 14th, 2006) until now.

Even with Zedomax.com, there was a big traffic spike at the beginning (due to some of my blog posts making on the front page of Digg, well it wasn’t even a blog then).

Anywayz, a lot of people wonder if SiteHoppin will suddenly die and the clear answer is no because you have someone with previous experience of building a website on a long term basis, me, Max. =p

I am not showing off here, I am just proving to you that I’ve done this before, Web 2.0 is nothing new to me.

What’s important is that I am on the edge of technology, trying to develop something that’s Web 2.0+, not selling outdated technology.

In comparison to Zedomax.com, I think SiteHoppin is on similar track to gain more visitors but with more possiblity of exponential growth. (since it’s NOT a blog, a social networking site)

Every time I do random jobs for various different corporations, they always ask me, “when is it going to take off?

Well, usually, I answer back about a year later, “It has took off, I just proved it to you.” and of course, my clients are very happy.  (Of course, SiteHoppin has been put on hold due to personal emergencies such as paying my rent but it’s coming back!)

If you are in life for success, especially in this Web 2.0 business, you have to look at the long term goals and make strategies that will work over 6-12 months, not 1-2 months.

I’ve actually fallen into that trap before with One Buck Wiki and other sites.  But don’t worry, I never take the money and run.  (At least, I will make sure to get millions and distribute among our Beer Stock Owners)

Of course, I still maintain all the wiki sites so they are on “hibernation” right now.  (I will take them to another level at some point but SiteHoppin is of importance right now)

Our goal right now for SiteHoppin is to multiply daily traffic levels up by 10X by next December.  It’s not a bad goal at all, considering the base web traffic, base SEO, and base users we have.

One of the most important things in Web 2.0 business is to outlast the recession and bad economy (for Web 2.0, that means hibernation of a project).  Well, I’ve kept that word, SiteHoppin will always be running no matter what my financial situation is.  (btw, SH runs on $400/month dedicated server)

A lot of Web 2.0 start-ups have millions of dollars in funding, such as Pownce, which recently got shut down.  (In contrast, we have about $5000 in funding from founder myself and 1-man programming team, but we are still HERE!!! )

In the past, I have invested almost 20 grand out of my pocket on various different blog projects before I even made a dime!   SiteHoppin in comparison is a small investment but with possibility of exponential growth.

Well, the next step is to pay off the affiliates that have earned more than $100.  I am still coding that so, hopefully, everyone will be paid out by end of the month plus you will get 10% extra incentive for any late payments.

Anyways, enough BSing, you should grab a beer and start SiteHoppin!  Tell your friends about it, let’s grow some real BUZZ.

SiteHoppin has officially just started walking, next step is to really start talkin’ and runnin’ =) , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,
