Well, it’s been almost a year and here’s what the major problem of SiteHoppin is:

1. We are giving 5 unique visitors per 1 unique visitor, which inflated SiteHoppin credits as our incoming traffic simply couldn’t match the number of SiteHoppin credits built up.

This model was simply “dumb” and it’s has not worked and not going to work.  (BUT, we have a solution.)

2. Now, there’s a flood of users who have a lot of credits but painfully there’s not as much traffic coming in.

To keep it fair for SiteHoppin and the users, we are going to change the ratio from 1-to-5 to 1-to-1.

We are still the most laid-back people as far as exchange rate goes but we really need to do this as our initial plan wasn’t thought out thoroughly and thus our miserable failure to balance the number of SH credits and distributing overall incoming traffic to the SiteHoppin users.

Anyways, this shouldn’t really affect you as much as we are still giving out bunch of credits for those in need.  Your built-up SH credits won’t be affected btw.

If you haven’t got that SH widget up, please get them up and help us grow.  It’s up to you to help SiteHoppin grow, not the other way around.  (and please ignore those weird hijacking posts about SiteHoppin, those blog posts are totally wrong and written by our evil competition who just want us to go down. Let me tell you the truth about Entrecard for those of you who don’t know.)

The more SH widgets and more users are SiteHoppin, the more traffic you will receive in return.
